Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar local-storage technologies are, which ones we use on zeropunk.net, why we use them and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) by a website you visit. It allows the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language or consent choice) over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them every time you come back. "Local storage" works in a similar way but the data is stored directly inside your browser instead of being sent with each request.

2. Cookies / local storage we use

ZEROPUNK is built with privacy in mind. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use cross-site tracking, we do not embed third-party analytics that profile you. The only items we store on your device are strictly necessary to make the site work and to remember your own choices: • zp-cookie-consent — purpose: remembers whether you accepted or refused the cookie banner so we don't show it again. Type: strictly necessary, stored in localStorage. Lifetime: until you clear it from your browser. • zp-lang — purpose: remembers your language preference (English / French) so the site stays in the language you selected. Type: strictly necessary / functional, stored in localStorage. Lifetime: until you clear it from your browser. These items are not sent to our servers, are not shared with any third party and contain no personal identifier.

3. Third-party content

Some pages may embed third-party content such as videos (YouTube), social widgets or links to external platforms (Discord, Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, Buy Me a Coffee). When such content is loaded, those third parties may set their own cookies on your device, governed by their own cookie policies. We invite you to consult those policies on the relevant platforms. We do not control these third-party cookies.

4. Your consent

When you first visit the site, a banner allows you to accept or refuse the use of non-essential storage. Strictly necessary items (the consent choice itself, the language preference) are required for the site to function and are exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the EU "ePrivacy" Directive 2002/58/EC.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can withdraw your consent at any time and delete the items stored by the site: • In your browser settings, you can clear cookies and "site data / local storage" for zeropunk.net. Refer to your browser's documentation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, etc.). • You can configure your browser to block all cookies, but be aware that some functionality of the site (such as remembering your language) may not work properly. • You can also use private/incognito mode, which automatically clears cookies and local storage when you close the window.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change or when required by law. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
